“The lead singer mixed it up with extra percussion and some acoustic fronted melodies” a “Sgt. Pepper meets Madchester” style, creating a hybrid of indie/Brit-pop.
They each bring something special/integral to the band that each member makes it fantastik together”

Next up was Burton based four-piece Fantastik4. Sitting on the heavier side of Alt, Rock, they have a sound defined by roaring guitars, fast beats, powerful layered vocals cut-through with anthemic melody. There is some real quality and scope in their music and as a band they perform with confidence and charisma. Clap along tracks saw the whole Academy crowd clapping away to a lot of their set. With so many ideas apparent in their music it’s to the bands credit how seamlessly they bring it all together for a substantial and exciting whole.

A young lady on bass... umm...there's a few around these days, Fantastik 4 are a breath of fresh air on the rock circuit, not an out and out classic rock band, they squeeze in a few more modern numbers, stuff you wouldn't normally here bands play & really good at it they are...My Sharona, Ruby, Monster and a few others, a cracking job they do as well. I ain't never gonna change am I?? A belting night which you think can't get better, believe me it does, Rio on bass goes over to acoustic for a couple of Pink Floyd numbers & really comes into her own, I could listen to her playin Pink Floyd all night - a really good bass player but on acoustic guitar she's in a league of her own!! An excellent band that should become a household name on the midlands Rock circuit!
